Why we built this
Discovery keeps getting bigger. Body cameras, phone extractions and jail calls have turned a case file into hours of video and thousands of pages, and defense teams have not grown to match.
The tools that could help are mostly built for prosecutors and police, or they run in someone else's cloud, which is not an option for privileged material under a protective order. So most of the record goes unread, and the contradiction that would have mattered sits on page 840 of a phone extraction nobody had time to open.
Justice Seek is our answer: an AI that reads every page and every minute of the record, from the defense side, on hardware in your office, and shows its sources for every claim. It does not replace the attorney's judgment. It makes sure the attorney has seen everything before exercising it.
Principles
- Cite or stay quiet. A finding without a source is not a finding. When the record is silent, the system says so.
- Nothing leaves the building. Privilege and protective orders are not negotiable, so there is no cloud in the design.
- Read everything. Sampling is how things get missed. Every analysis covers the whole record.
- For attorney review. The output is a first draft and a map of the evidence, not advice, and it says so on every page.
